Pulmonary Fibrosis Research

Pulmonary Fibrosis

The research at Brigham and Women's Hospital is dedicated to the development of effective treatments for pulmonary fibrosis and ultimately cure those who have been diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis.

The Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD) Clinic at Brigham and Women's Hospital brings together a unique multidisciplinary team of physicians - rheumatologists, pulmonologists, pathologists, and radiologists - dedicated to providing specialized care for patients with interstitial lung disease.

The causes of ILD are not always understood, and, therefore, it is often difficult to determine how the disease developed and how to treat it. Recognizing the challenges surrounding the disease and the benefits that could be gained through closer collaboration, BWH created the ILD Clinic.
